This is my second attemp at the ripple pattern. Not sure I did a very good job at this one. I only had a week to complete it (time slipped up on me). However the colors are great. My daughter in law said it looked like a Easter egg. The colors that new mothers are using now are brown and blue or brown and pink. I used the Bernat baby colors lilac, blue, green, yellow and pink. I have not used this thread in quite some time and it took some time getting used to it. Becaquse it is thinner and softer it is harder to work with. Or at least it is for me. After taking the picture it dawned on me that I had turned the blanet up side down. Can't take any more pictures I have already given the blanket to the parents. That is what happens when you rush things.
