Okay, I started working on this and it seems everything got in the way!  My granddaughter wanted a purple blanket.  I don't think you could get more of a purple color than this one. This is a little bit larger than a twin bed.  (per her mothers request) Sorry about the pictures not being very good.  I think the stitch I used is called cross stitch, unsure about that..

Made this for the grandson.  Because as he is so fond of saying "Blue is my favorite color"

This is the basket weave stitch.  It was fun to work with, but you have to pay attention.

I have been out of commission for quite some time.  But I have been trying new things in crocheting. Just never posted them. Here are a few, the first ones are a new color I was trying out.  Seems nobody wants the pastel colors when they are having a baby.  So I tried these out and came up with these colors.

These are beautiful colors together.  I made this for a guy I work with.  Baby was a big surprise.

I made this rather large, because I thought they could use it at first for a cover on the car seat.  Then maybe later as a toddler blanket.

Paisley's Blanket

Here is a paisley blanket that I made for a Miss Paisley.  This is just a shell stitch using the baby pastel colors from Lion Brand yarns.  So pretty just like the person I made it for.  Welcome to the world little Miss Paisley!  Such beautiful colors!

V Stitch Baby Blanket

It has been quite some time since I added anything to this site.  Work & School have been taking up too much of my time lately.  This  is called "Bright Stripes Baby Afghan" .  I have been looking for a new and easy pattern.  This has to be one of the easiest blankets I have made.  This patterned called for "Vanna's Choice" colors, which I did not have in my stash.  So I used colors similar to the ones mentioned.  It is for my son's friend that is having a baby, so it is baby blanket size.  That might be why it only took a week to make.
